Reliance Industries ’ scrip clocked a multi-year high on Wednesday as investors cheered the announcements made by chairman Mukesh Ambani for customers of Jio. The stock had risen to this extent last in May 2009.
on Wednesday, the scrip soared over 7 percent intraday on the BSE and was the biggest contributors to the Nifty. In the past one week, the stock has risen over 10 percent and has shown strong movements in the past three days as well, posting a 7.42 percent gain. At 09:47 AM, Reliance Industries was quoting at Rs 1,155.15, up Rs 66.90, or 6.15 percent on the BSE. It touched a 52-week high of Rs 1,166.50.
